The iron museum

Unique in the region, this museum presents a collection of irons and machines from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Next to the Tool Museum, the Iron Museum is a museum in its own right.

Proposed by Jacques Testet, it is a complete collection of about 250 irons of different energies and different heating processes. Stove to heat by the irons, ember iron, plate iron, tiles, glazing iron, water iron, alcohol iron, gas iron, hull iron... chimney iron, gas iron, steam iron, industrial machine. Irons from the 16th to the 20th century and 2 Chinese ember irons from the 5th and 7th centuries...

Jacques Testet's collections are growing over time.

In 2017, a new showcase was created on the processes of shaping textiles and leather, shaped into glove wood.

Jacques Testet is also the creator of the museums of hand tolls and the old dolls.

Open every day, from July 1 to August 31 from 10am to 6pm. Closed on Sundays. Open all year round for groups.
