The Coat of Arms Museum, unique in France

This municipal museum was born of the desire of a number of enthusiasts to give the art and science of coats of arms a sanctuary unique in France. The Musée des Blasons, a municipal museum, was created under the impetus of members of an association, the Chevaliers du Monos, and in particular its founder Régis Germain and his wife, who have patiently built up an original collection of over 2500 pieces.
The museum features finely crafted wooden coats of arms, cut out, assembled in relief and painted, as well as a large series of costumes made by Laurence Magnanelli and weapons reproduced by specialized craftsmen.

Each room of the museum is punctuated by historical costumes closely related to the themes addressed.
