Dream and magic of the railroad is the exceptional adventure of a team of model railroad enthusiasts, having used the modern techniques of sound, light and animation.
You will thus be able to discover, on 25 meters long and 500 meters of railroad track (at the 87th), many events staging not only the railway life, but also many historical sites of the Ariège valley, criss-crossed by many railroad convoys and road vehicles, enhanced by various lighting effects.
The realization is the work of a team of enthusiasts and required about 40,000 hours over two years. You will see, the time of a dream, the day, the night, the thunderstorm, the unusual sometimes .... A real mini sound and light show...
This miniature world is completed by the visit of a mobile postal sorting wagon converted into a Post Office and railway museum where several objects and documents on these activities are exposed, as well as the discovery of the interior of an electric locomotive model BB 4736 from 1934. This BB4736, lovingly preserved by the association Rail Modélisme Ariégeois, retired in 1995 and is today one of the last survivors of its series.
