In a shaded park, the Museum of Origins allows visitors to discover the history of humanity through reconstructions of scenes from prehistoric life and displays of objects used in the daily lives of our ancestors. Younger visitors can play at being paleontologists by excavating bones themselves in a reconstructed dig site.
Created in 1997 by Alain Cabot on six hectares of pine forest and scrubland, the Dinosaur Museum and Park, next to the previous museum, is located in the heart of one of the largest paleontological sites in Europe, a deposit of dinosaur eggs and bones.
