The Order of Malta Museum

Located in the outbuildings of the Château de la Roche, a superb 15th and 16th century château listed as a Historic Monument, this museum, the only one of its kind in France, is dedicated to the Order of Malta.

It features a fine collection of memorabilia on this Order of chivalry, established by Count Géraud Michel de Pierredon, Bailiff of the Order of Malta, Hospitaller and representative of the Order to the French government.

It traces the history of the Knights of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta, from their origins to the present day, through maps, medals, armor, films...
