The Doll & Teddy Bear Museum

Since Ulla-Maija Suonpää, the founder of the museum, saw beautiful collections of dolls and teddy bears in museums in Paris and London in 1985 and 1986, she began to make and collect them, along with other antique toys and childhood souvenirs.
Today, she presents a collection of 2500 items, from the 18th century to the present day, in her Museum of Dolls & Teddy Bears in Lézan, opened in 2000.
You will be able to admire three permanent exhibitions: "La haute-couture 1950-2014 au pays des nounours", "Les souvenirs d'école des années 60" and "Des maisons de poupées... du XIXe siècle à nos jours... de la princesse à Fifi brin d'acier!
On the site you can take a virtual tour of an exhibition of fifty dollhouses in the museum by clicking on the link: http://dollhousedreams.free.fr/
The museum is open from July 1st to August 31st every day from 11am to 6pm.
The rest of the year only on Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm to 6pm, during school vacations and by appointment: tel: 04 66 83 19 57.
