La Casa ilicia is a bioclimatic and eco-designed guest house. Built facing south in front of Mount Canigou, in the heart of a village classified "Plus Beaux Villages de France", the village of Eus. The house is built with Eus stones and local materials.
This house was designed by Nuno, a painter, design and eco-design teacher who built it with his own hands, stone by stone for more than 10 years. He is helped by Claudia, an electrical engineer by training.
The "star loft" suite
But the Casa Ilicia also offers an exceptional experience on a semi-covered roof terrace, open to the Canigou massif facing south and to the Eastern Pyrenees, it's the "starry night loft" suite!
A romantic night in a panoramic loft with remote-controlled lighting...
This panoramic roof terrace is about 40 m2. The open room allows you to sleep facing an exceptional panorama, without facing each other, with a 360° view where you can see both the bell tower of the church of Eus and the Pyrenees mountain range.
Equipped with a bathtub for 2 persons, this suite in open space, allows to take a bath in front of the Canigou, without being seen.
As the bathtub has LED lighting, you can change the colors according to your mood. For those who are fond of chromotherapy, about twenty colors are available.
The bed is transportable in dry weather on the open terrace, and you can sleep under the stars.
This open space loft is equipped with 2 sun loungers (deck chairs), another outside bed and a separate and private WC/bathroom.
A mosquito net is installed for your comfort, although mosquitoes are rather rare.
Please note that this unusual room is not suitable for children (under 16 years old).
