The Pilgrim's Stopover Museum

In the village of Larressingle, considered to be the smallest fortified village in France, often described as the "little Carcassonne", located on the Way of St. James of Compostela, the public can enjoy, during their visit to the town, the Pilgrim's Stopover Museum. 
This is a museum that allows visitors to discover or rediscover daily life in the Middle Ages.
Several rooms of an old house are thus devoted to the presentation of 75 life-size wax figures: musicians playing their instruments, kitchen helpers around a kitchen table, pilgrims resting in the dormitory...
